Bhoomi Poojan of the first home for senior citizens at Velneshwar under Gram Vikas Yojana project, Vivekanandalay

Under the dynamic leadership of Mr Sharad Joshi, Saath Saath Charitable Trust, kick started their Gram Vikas Yojana program, Vivekandandalay at Velneshwar by organising a Bhoomi Poojan at the site of the first home for the Senior Citizens on 2nd November, 2018.

The following dignitaries were present as special guests for the event.

  • Suvarna Khandelwal-Joshi, Deputy Chairy Commissioner, Sangli. 
  • Shri Vasudevji Gharpure, Vivekananda Kendra's Naradepe Head and Grenappis Award winner.

Other dignitaries, friends, relatives and well wishers from Mumbai, Pune and Velneshwar were also present for the function.

After being briefed about the project and considering the progress of work at site and the scenic beauty of the environment and the site, two of the dignitaries present for the function donated Rs 1 Lakh each as their contribution to the Vivekandalay project.
